A residents’ meeting will be held on Wednesday, 27 May, for the residents of Leonkatu 21, the building affected by the fire. Representatives from the City of Helsinki Social and Crisis Emergency Services, the Rescue Department, and Lumo Homes will attend the meeting. The event will cover the background of the fire and provide an updated overview of the situation.
The meeting is intended exclusively for the residents of the building in question. We want to ensure a calm and private environment so that residents can listen to presentations by the authorities and Lumo representatives and ask questions in peace. Media representatives will not be invited to attend the meeting, as a separate briefing for the media is being planned.
