Invitation to the media: Media briefing on the Kalasatama fire

We will hold a media briefing for media representatives on Wednesday 27 May 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 p.m. regarding the fire that broke out on Saturday 23 May 2026, at Leonkatu 21 in Kalasatama, Helsinki.

The event can be attended either at Lumo’s headquarters at Mannerheimintie 168a, Helsinki, or via a live webcast.

Speakers at the briefing are Janne Ojalehto, Executive Vice President for Housing at Lumo Homes, Ville Kilpi, Director of Property Management, Vesa Hyvönen, Unit Manager at the Helsinki City Rescue Department, and Virpi Råman, Acting Head of the Helsinki Social and Crisis Emergency Services.

Members of the media will have the opportunity to ask questions during the briefing and to interview the experts after the event. The language of the event is Finnish.
