Lumo Kodit agrees on the construction of 178 new apartments in Finnoo, Espoo
Lumo Kodit Oy and Hausia Oy have agreed on the construction of 178 new apartments in the Finnoo area in Espoo. The apartments to be built at Luoteisrinne 7 are part of the cooperation agreement signed with Hausia in August 2019.
The site consists of two new 8-storey buildings with apartments from studios to spacious family apartments. Several of the apartments will have their own saunas and all of them will have a balcony. The spacious shared sauna facilities, club rooms and laundry rooms will increase comfort. Additional services, such as cleaning, installation and moving services, will also be available.
The new metro station and shopping centre, currently under construction, are only 400 metres away from Luoteisrinne. In addition, the services of the Iso Omena shopping centre are located three kilometres from the building. The new apartments will be completed in early 2024, when the selection of services in the area will have increased and, possibly, the new day-care centres will also have been completed. There are already Finnish- and Swedish-speaking schools and several day-care centres located a few kilometres from the new apartments.
The new coastal district of Finnoo extends from the Länsiväylä highway to the seaside. The Espoo Waterfront Walkway, “Espoon Rantaraitti”, invites the residents of Finnoo to enjoy the outdoors, and the archipelago boat operating nearby takes passengers on delightful sea cruises.
