Lumo Kodit agreed on the construction of 84 apartments in Vasaramäki, Turku
Lumo Kodit Oy and Jatke Länsi-Suomi Oy have agreed on the construction of 84 new apartments in Vasaramäki, Turku.
In a couple of years, the future residents of the new homes in Vasaramäki can enjoy the smoothness of everyday life, having high-quality shared facilities and services that make life easier at their disposal. The 8-storey residential building to be constructed at Hippoksentie 33 A will provide residents with access to a sauna, a laundry and a drying room as well as a range of services, such as a shared-use van, a parcel locker and cleaning and moving services.
Vasaramäki is a verdant residential area close to the services of Turku city centre and Kupittaa. The new apartments will be located next to the sports fields of Kupittaa and plenty of parks. The facilities for outdoor activities and sports are excellent: the area features a bowling alley, a sports hall, an indoor skating rink, a gym, an open air pool, a traffic park and a miniature golf course. The area has its own primary and secondary school and a daycare centre. The Vasaramäki area is also ideal for those who need train connections, as the Kupittaa railway station is located nearby. The new apartments will be completed in summer 2023.
The project is in line with Kojamo’s investment strategy. Kojamo’s strategy is to invest in increasing housing supply in Finland’s growth centres, where the demand for rental apartments is on the rise due to urbanisation and the increased popularity of rental housing.
